Home Helpers® Home Care is a home healthcare service that provides top quality in-home care. Our Cared-4 program is a holistic approach to meet the four primary areas of need, helping your loved one stay safe and independent at home. We are one of the nation’s leading providers of senior care and deliver comprehensive services for clients dealing with a wide variety of conditions and struggles.
Syntero’s Older Adults Program offers a variety of in-home and office-based services for older adults. Our community-based programming serves seniors with serious health and daily living conditions. Those served include seniors with mental health, aging, housing, financial or other human service need. Services include:
  • assessment
  • counseling for personal or mental health problems
  • linkage with needed health care or social services
  • transportation for shopping and medical appointments
  • accompanying clients on medical appointments
  • housing options counselings
Professional social workers and case managers supplemented by community volunteers provide these services.
The Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging plans, funds, and delivers services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes. With the assistance of area providers, COAAA arranges and coordinates services to help individuals with daily living such as homemaking, transportation, home delivered meals, and personal care.  COAAA offers education and resources to caregivers, professionals, and the public and advocates for programs and policies that benefit older adults and individuals with disabilities. COAAA manages services for 12,500 people and funds services for another 25,000 older adults in eight counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union. COAAA is operated under the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.

We help many seniors living in Clintonville/Beechwold to remain independent and safe in their own homes, and provide recreational activities to prevent social isolation.

The Clintonville zip code of 43214 has the largest percentage of people 65 years of age or older in Franklin County as of 2010 Census. CRC provides a myriad of services to help older adults remain independent and safe in their homes.

Senior Supportive Services works with CRC outreach workers to connect  clients with other resources outside additional CRC programs. CRC values all that older adults offer as members of our community.

Village in the Ville is a grassroots, member-driven organization for adults 50 and up. Through Village in the Ville, neighbors make new friends, try new activities, and stay involved in the community. If interested, members volunteer to assist one-another with tasks in and around the home, with transportation, and friendly support. Village in the Ville supports the continual development of a strong community to help us all age successfully.

Village members may participate in health and wellness programs, educational activities, hobby groups, and a variety of social outings and events tailored specifically to Village member interests. Please check out our social calendar to see what we will be doing this month!

Members of Village in the Ville may also utilize volunteers to assist with a range of tasks, including in-home maintenance, yard maintenance, pet care, transportation to doctor’s appointments, and a variety of other friendly support. Volunteers are both members of Village in the Ville, as well as younger community members and program supporters. Volunteers are vetted and background checked.

Additionally, members receive access to Village in the Ville’s exclusive list of preferred and discounted service providers. Village in the Ville supports the continual development of a strong community network to help promote successful aging.
